The Bettendorf Business Network intends to serve the more than 900 merchants and service providers in the greater Bettendorf, Iowa area.
We are “Bettendorf Proud.” More than a hundred years ago, our community was founded on the Iowa shore of the Mississippi River. Today 33,000 thousand residents call Bettendorf home. We are included in the Quad City region which encompasses cities in both eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Companies such as John Deere, ALCOA and the Rock Island Arsenal power our economy. Bettendorf has experienced significant population growth by providing moderately priced but attractive housing, outstanding schools, city and recreational services and a vibrant business community. We are situated at the nexus of Interstate 74 and 80 with access to significant rail and air transportation facilities.
Our organization promotes the commercial, industrial and civic interests of our members in an effort to advance the growth and development of the business environment in the greater Bettendorf area. This mission will be attained through networking events, educational programs, business advocacy, business services and civic involvement.
Through our mission the Bettendorf Business Network envisions the economic prosperity of a diverse, cooperative and quality driven business community dedicated to serving greater Bettendorf area residents well. Additionally, we seek to attract visitors and potential residents to our city, as a destination location for shopping and professional services.
With thousands of diverse businesses, along with several major industrial entities located in the Quad City region, no single organization can effectively serve the needs of the entire metro area business community. We have, therefore, focused our efforts exclusively on the greater Bettendorf business community by providing a distinct and constructive voice for our members.
We offer our members value through a firm commitment to promote shopping in Bettendorf and to support civic improvement projects which make our community a desirable place to live. Local businesses have a unified voice to advocate their needs. We work together toward a common vision of what our community hopes to achieve.
